Norms - Set the class norms for optimal respect/responsibility in teams & reward it when you see it. Schools that have a campus-wide norm system can tap into that for math class. See some suggestions below.

Another Norms poster I have used successfully for years is T.E.A.C.H. Students are entertained by the idea that "teach" can anagram to "cheat". The point can be made that collaboration is not cheating:)
